Description:

A vessel is leaking oil after running aground near Langesund on the Norwegian coast during stormy conditions overnight, rescue authorities said on Friday. Ola Vaage, head of the rescue mission, said 16 sailors had been evacuated from the vessel and seven remained on the ship. The entire crew are Chinese nationals, Vaage said. The "Full City", registered in Panama, has up to 1,120 tonnes of oil on board. Oil was coming ashore along the North Sea coastline in southern Norway -- a popular summer holiday area west of the Oslo fjord.

Description:

Two flying instructors were killed when an IAF training aircraft crashed into a brick kiln in Medak district of Andhra Pradesh on Friday. Ritin Jain, 32, of Gujarat and N Chaturvedi, 33, of Maharashtra — were only seconds away from landing when their HPT-32 plane went down at Annaram village, 32 km from Hyderabad, at 9.45 am. The plane had taken off from the Air Force Academy, Dundigal, 8 km from the spot, 45 minutes earlier. Police officer N Venkateswarulu said the instructors were on a routine flying session. "The plane crashed when the pilots were about to land at the Dundigal academy," he said. There were no workers present at the brick kiln at the time of the incident.

A bus flipped over and plunged into a ravine on Friday in southern Peru, killing at least 17 people and injuring 23 others, police said. The accident took place in the early hours of Friday on a curve on a highway in Quiquijana, between Cuzco and Arequipa, some 1 100 kilometres southeast of Lima.

Hundreds of thousands of Vanni civilians are detained in the internment camps, which are totally under the control of Sri Lanka Army.
